Registered Nurse – Fixed‑term Part‑time (24 hrs/week)

About the role

Join Redroofs Lifecare in Dunedin as a part‑time Registered Nurse on a fixed‑term contract. You will work 24 hours per week across AM, PM and weekend shifts, providing hospital‑standard care to residents in a 50‑bed aged‑care home.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of dedicated caregivers to ensure high‑quality resident care.
• Develop, monitor and update individual care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and document findings.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families and general practitioners.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, either in New Zealand or overseas.
• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for caring for older adults and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
