Registered Nurse – Fixed‑Term Part‑Time (24 hrs/week)

About the role

Redroofs Lifecare, a 50‑bed aged‑care home in Dunedin, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for a fixed‑term, part‑time position (24 hours per week) until 31 July 2026. You will join a multicultural team delivering hospital‑standard care to residents in a warm, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of caregivers to ensure high‑quality resident care.
• Develop, monitor, and update individual care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and document findings.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families, and GPs.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, either in New Zealand or abroad.
• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) in good standing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for caring for older adults and a collaborative team spirit.
