Regional Key Account Manager

About the role

Kraft Heinz is hiring a permanent Regional Key Account Manager for its Sales team, based in Auckland. The role focuses on selling to targeted new key accounts across specific channels and categories, building business plans with the Field & Distribution Manager NZ and driving growth through anchor customers for new product launches. Key responsibilities

• Work with the Field & Distribution Manager NZ to develop account-specific business plans and measure performance against set standards.
• Sell to targeted new key accounts, identify and lock them in, and establish agreements within company policy and budget.
• Communicate standards and customer commitments to customers and follow up on implementation at an operational level.
• Create tailored product solutions and joint business plans with region-based key accounts and internal units.
• Monitor performance and compliance to trade agreements and take corrective action where needed.
• Share forecasting, opportunity pipeline, NPDs, pricing and market intelligence with internal stakeholders.
• Secure anchor customers for successful NPD launches and act as a strategic partner to Commercial Leadership.
• Use CRM software effectively and comply with all food safety, environmental, health and safety, ethical and human resources policies.

Required profile

• Sales experience at a state-based and account management level, with a minimum of 2-3 years in an FMCG company.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and hunger for sales, with high commercial and sales acumen.
• Foodservice and FMCG background.
• Negotiation skills and professional communication.

Required skills

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of CRM tools.
