Recruitment Consultant – Temporary Staffing

About the role

Based in our Penrose office in Auckland, you will work in a fast‑paced 360 temporary recruitment environment, managing the full recruitment cycle for a range of client organisations. You will partner with clients to understand their workforce needs, secure job orders and place candidates in temporary assignments while meeting KPI targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
• Source, screen and place candidates into temporary roles.
• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process across a temp desk.
• Respond to high‑volume and urgent client requirements.
• Achieve individual and team KPIs and performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with payroll, health & safety and employment obligations.

Required profile

• Based in Auckland with the legal right to work in New Zealand.
• 1–2 years of agency recruitment experience, preferably in temporary or high‑volume hiring.
• Strong communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Highly organised with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Resilient, motivated and comfortable working to targets.
