Project Manager – Planned Programmes

About the role

As a Project Manager – Planned Programmes you will lead the delivery of residential property maintenance and minor capital upgrade projects across New Zealand. You will work with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects meet compliance, quality, schedule and budget requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, contract and deliver programmes such as exterior painting, re‑roofing, refurbishment and other maintenance works.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing contractor performance, budgets, risk and reporting.
• Coordinate consenting processes and engage with architects, engineers, councils and other stakeholders.
• Control procurement, contract negotiation and ensure compliance with NZS 3604 and the New Zealand Building Code.

Required profile

• Current, full clean New Zealand driver’s licence.
• At least 5 years of proven project management experience in residential property maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to read architectural designs, engineering reports and procurement documentation.
• Strong track record of stakeholder, contractor and colleague engagement.
• Resilience and adaptability in a complex, changing environment.
• Sound understanding of legislative requirements within NZS 3604.

Required skills

• Prince2 (or equivalent recognised project management certification).
