Project Coordinator – UHT Programme Expansion

About the role

Goodman Fielder, a global food company with iconic New Zealand brands such as Meadow Fresh, Puhoi Valley, Molenberg, Natures Fresh and Freya's, is looking for a Project Coordinator to join its National Engineering team. The role supports the expansion of the UHT programme at the Meadow Fresh dairy manufacturing site in Christchurch and acts as the central coordination point across workstreams, keeping the team aligned, informed and focused on delivery. It is not a technical or process engineering role.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across workstreams so that tasks, dependencies and follow-ups are tracked and progressing
• Support project leads by maintaining action registers, priorities and commitments
• Prepare and distribute project updates, communications and documentation
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date project records with effective version control
• Coordinate meetings and workshops, including scheduling, agendas, minutes and action tracking
• Make sure attendees have the right information and are prepared to contribute
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Program Manager and project team
• Maintain project calendars, shared folders, onboarding materials and ways of working

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience supporting project teams and building simple coordination systems
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
• Ability to track actions, maintain documentation and support delivery
• Exposure to food manufacturing, dairy, FMCG or industrial environments is desirable
