About the role
The Cancer Control Agency is seeking an energetic Project Coordinator to support the Northern Regional Hub Manager and a small team in Auckland. You will provide high‑quality project coordination and administrative assistance across multiple workstreams, helping to improve cancer outcomes for New Zealanders.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver project coordination and admin support for the team and related workstreams.
- Manage travel arrangements, draft meeting agendas, and record minutes.
- Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and handle changing priorities.
- Perform secretariat duties, ensuring governance processes are followed.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance project goals.
Required profile
- Passion for improving cancer outcomes and equity‑led service delivery.
- Proven ability to juggle a significant workload and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a whānau‑centred approach.
Required skills
- Project coordination experience, preferably in a health‑service environment.
- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Governance knowledge and experience in secretariat functions.
- Excellent written communication.
