Production Technician - Pharmaceutical Compounding

About the role

Slade Health, a division of ICON Group, is recruiting a Production Technician for its new sterile compounding facility in Auckland, New Zealand. The site produces chemotherapy, antibiotics, analgesics and nutritional products for public hospitals, and offers full on-the-job training with ongoing development support. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 6:30am-3pm and 9:30am-6pm, with occasional weekend and public holiday overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Decontaminate materials
• Print labels and batch documents
• Compound and mix products in the cleanroom
• Check, seal and label the finished product
• Complete all required documentation
• Perform GMP cleans of the facility and equipment

Required profile

• No formal qualifications required; commitment to training is more important
• An eye for detail and meticulous record-keeping
• A proactive, enthusiastic working style and strong communication skills
• Willingness to attend pre-employment health checks for specified vaccine-preventable diseases, as required for certain roles
