Production Supervisor – Lead Manufacturing Team

About the role

ABB is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead its afternoon shift at the Napier facility. You will manage a talented production team, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a safety‑first culture, ensuring all team members go home safe each day.
• Drive production execution to meet volume, quality and on‑time delivery targets.
• Identify and implement operational improvements and performance enhancements.
• Resolve critical product or equipment issues in collaboration with internal teams.
• Lead, develop and mentor team members, handling staffing and performance management.
• Build engagement and accountability across shifts, promoting trust and open communication.
