Procurement & Billing Specialist (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role
Neptune Pacific is seeking a Procurement and Billing Specialist on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will ensure accurate procurement processing, vessel voyage reconciliation and cost allocation across our shipping and logistics operations.
Key responsibilities
- Raise and manage purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring cost accuracy.
- Reconcile vessel voyages with supplier invoices and disbursement billing for all ports.
- Identify and resolve cost discrepancies, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain and update financial tracking tools and centralized key financial figures.
- Provide administrative support for financial reporting, contract negotiations and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve cost transparency and operational efficiency.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary degree in business, accounting, finance or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum three years of experience in procurement, billing or related finance roles.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Required skills
- Experience with accounting systems such as XERO, SAP or Oracle.
