About the role
New Zealand Post is hiring a Processing Officer for its Invercargill Operations Centre on a fixed-term basis until January 2027. The role works Monday to Wednesday, 6:00am to 10:00am, at $26.75 per hour. Processing Officers sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight so that couriers can deliver them.
Key responsibilities
- Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at the Invercargill Operations Centre.
- Work in a team with colleagues who bring a diverse set of skills.
Required profile
- Available to work Monday to Wednesday, 6am to 10am until January 2027.
- A committed teammate who keeps themselves, others and the site safe.
- Energy for a physically demanding role, able to lift up to 25kg.
- An eye for detail and good geographical knowledge.
