Processing Officer – Evening Shifts (Sun‑Tue)

About the role
The Processing Officer works at NZ Post's Syd Bradley Road airport branch, handling the sorting, consolidation and dispatch of parcels and freight for courier delivery. The role is scheduled on Sunday evenings and Monday‑Tuesday nights, with a night rate after 8 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Sort parcels manually or using machines.
- Consolidate parcels for efficient dispatch.
- Prepare shipments for courier pickup.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
- Operate forklift equipment when required (bonus).
Required profile
- Available to work Sunday 3 pm‑11:30 pm and Monday/Tuesday 4 pm‑12:30 am.
- Physically able to lift up to 25 kg and perform a demanding physical role.
- Reliable transport to and from the workplace.
- Strong attention to detail and good geographical knowledge.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
Required skills
- Forklift operation (preferred).
