Principal Pega System Architect

About the role

This is a senior leadership position for an experienced Pega professional who will drive workflow automation and AI‑driven self‑service initiatives within a major New Zealand bank. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on technical expertise to shape the platform roadmap and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Technical Product Owners and inspire Pega Lead System Architects, Business Product Owners, and Lead Business Architects.
• Champion the creation of comprehensive solution blueprints that align with business objectives, architectural standards, and best practices.
• Guide and enforce workflow technology governance, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Craft and steward platform roadmaps, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation within the Pega stack.
• Collaborate with delivery and demand‑management teams to translate business requirements into effective Pega solutions.
