Platform Engineer – Datapay

About the role

As a Platform Engineer you will join Datacom’s technology team to design, build and maintain the core platforms that power our clients’ digital ecosystems. Working closely with senior engineers, you will help automate and optimise the software delivery lifecycle across cloud, container and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Champion an automation‑first culture to improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Implement and maintain core infrastructure and platform services across cloud, containerisation and hybrid environments.
• Provide technical input for architectural decisions and contribute to solution design.
• Build, maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and related build, release, configuration and environment management practices.
• Develop internal tooling and automate processes using infrastructure‑as‑code and DevSecOps practices.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, support production systems and resolve technical issues.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technology trends and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of platform engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience across the software development lifecycle with exposure to DevSecOps.
• Ability to work collaboratively, share knowledge and continuously learn.
