Physiotherapist (Full-time, Nelson Tasman)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Nelson Tasman. This full‑time position (40 hours, Monday‑Friday) offers flexible scheduling and the chance to work across private orthopaedic hospital, aged‑care, clinic, and community settings, including home visits and vocational rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver physiotherapy services in hospitals, clinics, homes, workplaces, and aged‑care facilities.
• Collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, exercise therapists, psychologists, and orthopaedic surgeons.
• Document assessments, treatment notes, and reports using Gensolve and other clinical software.
• Communicate progress with clients, funders, employers, and team members.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and service development initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered physiotherapist with a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in physiotherapy.
• Current practising certificate, professional indemnity insurance, and a clean NZ driver’s licence.
• Strong clinical reasoning, report‑writing, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams.
• Experience using clinical software systems (e.g., Gensolve).
