People Policy Practice Specialist

About the role

As a People Policy Practice Specialist you will shape how employees experience work every day by designing, improving and aligning people policies, tools and processes. You will work closely with Employment Relations, People Advisory, Payroll and offshore delivery partners to ensure seamless, user‑centred outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and continuous improvement of people policies, frameworks and associated processes.
• Create clear tools, process maps and decision pathways that reduce ambiguity for leaders, advisors and offshore teams.
• Map and document processes, escalation routes and ensure consistency across policy, systems and digital solutions.
• Collaborate with the People team to keep policies connected and aligned with operational needs.
• Manage relationships with offshore teams to meet service level agreements.
• Identify smarter ways of working through process improvement, AI‑enabled tools, workflow automation and Power Platform solutions.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to see both the big picture and the minutiae.
• Proven experience in HR, legal, policy or government environments.
• Excellent written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset and proactive ownership.
