People & Culture Advisor

About the role

Join NZ Couriers as a People & Culture Advisor and bring your HR expertise to a dynamic, fast‑moving environment. You will partner with leaders across a workforce of over 1,000 employees, coaching them, solving people challenges and driving positive change.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance and coaching to line managers and senior leaders.
• Support employee relations, performance management and talent development initiatives.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies.
• Interpret and apply HR policies, employment legislation and best practices.
• Contribute to HR projects that improve processes and employee experience.

Required profile

• Relevant HR qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a generalist HR role within a large, fast‑paced organisation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
