People & Capability Partner

About the role

Skyline is looking for a People & Capability Partner to join its global People & Capability team. Based in either Queenstown or Rotorua, you will act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, delivering end‑to‑end HR services across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑spectrum generalist HR support, from recruitment to off‑boarding.
• Advise and influence people leaders on employee relations, performance and capability development.
• Build strong relationships with leaders at all levels to align HR initiatives with business goals.
• Coordinate and contribute to people‑related projects that enhance the overall employee experience.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices.

Required profile

• Exceptional relationship‑building and problem‑solving abilities.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to balance dynamic operational demands.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with a pragmatic, solution‑focused approach.
• Generalist HR experience in a medium to large organisation, including knowledge of employment legislation.
• Proven experience advising leaders on a range of employee‑relations issues; operational management experience is a plus.
