People and Culture Analyst

About the role

Join Summerset’s Shared Services team as a People and Culture Analyst, where you will turn people data into actionable insights and support the delivery of reward cycles. This position offers the chance to work with a purpose‑led organisation, influencing workforce trends and remuneration strategies across Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and ad‑hoc people reports, analyses and insights for senior leaders.
• Analyse workforce trends such as turnover, engagement, remuneration and movement.
• Lead cyclical remuneration reviews, including data preparation, validation, modelling and reporting.
• Support market remuneration survey submissions, benefits administration and reward reporting.
• Maintain data accuracy across People & Culture systems, remuneration files and reporting tools.
• Contribute to HR technology, data and process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Analytical, curious and detail‑oriented with confidence working across data, systems and stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to present information clearly for decision‑making.
• Proactive, continuous‑improvement attitude and capacity to manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills for handling complex data sets.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
• Familiarity with HR systems and reporting tools.
