Partnerships Manager – New Zealand

About the role

Airwallex is seeking a strategic, data‑driven Partnerships Manager to lead the founding partnerships function in New Zealand. You will be responsible for building and expanding relationships with key partners across accounting, virtual CFO, business advisory and e‑commerce agency sectors, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition and co‑marketing opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and manage relationships with Airwallex ambassadors and strategic partners across accounting, virtual CFO, business advisory and e‑commerce agencies.
• Lead the end‑to‑end partnership process: prospecting, meetings, contracting, integration (if required), onboarding and ongoing activation.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, legal, strategy, operations and finance to ensure a seamless partner experience.
• Maintain continuous engagement to nurture long‑term relationships and generate referrals.
• Ideate and experiment with new go‑to‑market approaches to expand partner reach.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience with partnership prospecting, negotiation and contract management.
• Familiarity with accounting, virtual CFO, business advisory or e‑commerce sectors.
