Part-time Rest Home Administrator

About the role

The Rest Home Administrator will support the daily operations of Kapiti Rest Home in Paraparaumu Beach. This part‑time permanent position focuses on delivering high‑quality care for aged residents while maintaining efficient administration and compliance with relevant standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate resident records and manage admissions and discharges.
• Coordinate staff schedules and ensure appropriate coverage.
• Handle billing, invoicing, and financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for residents' families.
• Manage inventory of medical and office supplies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and reporting.

Required profile

• Previous experience in healthcare or aged‑care administration preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail.
• Familiarity with New Zealand health‑care regulations is an advantage.
