About the role
Clevedon Village Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive, community‑focused team. The role provides primary healthcare services to a growing rural and semi‑rural population, ensuring high‑quality care for patients of all ages.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions within a general practice setting.
- Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education tailored to community needs.
- Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to practice quality improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse Practitioner qualification (NP3+ or equivalent) with a background in general practice.
- Demonstrated experience delivering primary care in rural or semi‑rural environments.
- Commitment to patient‑centred, evidence‑based practice.
Required skills
- Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Prescribing authority and medication management.
- Ability to work autonomously while integrating into a multidisciplinary team.
