Mobile Patrol Team Leader – Auckland (Hybrid)

About the role

Join Red Badge Group as a Mobile Patrol Team Leader in Auckland, balancing hands‑on patrol duties with office‑based coordination and team leadership. This hybrid, permanent role supports commercial, retail and residential clients through proactive patrols, rapid incident response and strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Mobile Patrol Officers across multiple sites.
• Coordinate patrols, alarm responses, service requests and welfare checks.
• Conduct site inspections, lock/unlock services and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and operational standards.
• Prepare incident reports, shift handovers and other operational documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, company policies and site procedures.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver outstanding customer service.

Required profile

• Current NZ Certificate of Approval (COA) or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience in mobile patrols, security operations or a similar role; leadership experience preferred.
• Clean criminal record and ability to pass pre‑employment checks.
• Full, clean NZ driver licence with a safe driving history.
• Strong communication, observation and incident reporting abilities.
• Comfortable working alone and making sound decisions under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
