Medical Education Clinical Specialist

About the role

The Medical Education Clinical Specialist will work closely with the New Zealand Medical Education & Training Manager to deliver high‑impact educational programmes for orthopaedic surgeons and clinical teams. This role blends clinical expertise with education delivery, supporting product adoption and advancing surgical techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and coordinate medical education events, including lab courses, faculty forums and corporate training sessions.
• Develop and deliver educational materials that showcase Arthrex orthopaedic and arthroscopic solutions.
• Engage surgeon consultants to promote safe and effective use of products and procedures.
• Lead nurse and sales representative education programmes focused on product application.
• Manage lab set‑up, breakdown, inventory control and stock replenishment.
• Create purchase requisitions in SAP and collaborate with finance to ensure timely payment.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Clinical background such as scrub scout nurse, ER nurse, or clinical specialist supporting surgical cases.
• Experience in orthopaedic sales or medical device industry is a strong plus.
• CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) certification preferred.
• Training in project management or handling administratively complex duties.
• Proven track record of successful event management in a medical setting.
