Marketing Manager

About the role

The Ellis Park Marketing Manager leads the planning, development, and execution of marketing, advertising, public relations, admissions, and sponsorship initiatives for Ellis Park Racing & Gaming. This role drives brand awareness, visitor engagement, and revenue growth while ensuring seamless guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and launch marketing and advertising campaigns that boost brand visibility and revenue.
• Manage creation, production, and implementation of all marketing materials using internal resources and external agencies.
• Review and secure approval for advertising assets before release.
• Analyze campaign performance and deliver actionable insights.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, community groups, and business partners.
• Oversee admissions operations, ensuring accurate reporting, ticketing, and on‑site entry experiences.
• Design and execute a sponsorship strategy, identifying, securing, and activating local sponsors.
• Manage the department’s annual budget, forecast needs, monitor expenses, and analyze variances.
• Administer vendor contracts and allocate agency resources efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
• Strong background in admissions or guest‑service operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage sponsorship programs and community outreach.
• Experience handling marketing budgets, financial forecasting, and expense analysis.
• Excellent collaboration skills with internal teams, external agencies, and media partners.
