Lead System Engineer

About the role

Kordia is looking for a senior Lead System Engineer to shape and evolve the OSS platforms that keep our networks visible, reliable and responsive. You will work across architecture, engineering and operations to improve issue detection, automation and observability in a complex, mission‑critical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and optimisation of OSS platforms aligned with network and enterprise architecture.
• Drive integration across OSS, BSS, network elements and vendor systems.
• Enhance monitoring, alerting and service visibility for network services.
• Develop automation and orchestration for provisioning, monitoring and incident response.
• Support platform performance, scalability and reliability; manage upgrades and lifecycle.
• Build APIs, integration workflows and data flows across the OSS ecosystem.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and enforce best practices.
• Diagnose complex cross‑system issues and improve fault detection.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in OSS, monitoring or network systems engineering.
• Deep understanding of service assurance, monitoring platforms and network visibility tools.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, network infrastructure and service delivery environments.
• Proven experience integrating OSS platforms with network systems, APIs and operational tools.
• Demonstrated capability in automation, scripting and Infrastructure‑as‑Code approaches.
