Landscape Architect – Contract (Hybrid)

About the role

VSL Landscapes is seeking a qualified Landscape Architect to join its team on a contract basis. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site in Auckland and remotely while contributing to high‑profile commercial and civil projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept and detailed designs for commercial and civil landscape projects across Auckland.
• Prepare and manage council‑related documentation and approvals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and project delivery.
• Support project planning, budgeting and scheduling activities.
• Maintain design standards and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified Landscape Architect with relevant experience in commercial or civil projects.
• Strong understanding of Auckland council processes and documentation requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, innovative team.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
