Kitchen Designer – Retail Showroom

About the role

Join the Mitre 10 MEGA Glenfield showroom team as a Kitchen Designer, helping customers create inspiring kitchen and bathroom spaces. You will work closely with the Showroom Department Head to deliver tailored design solutions and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Design effective kitchen and bathroom layouts using WINNER design software.
• Produce detailed specifications and quotations for customers.
• Maintain regular liaison with customers, providing updates on installation and progress dates.
• Conduct face‑to‑face and telephone sales, offering product advice and practical tips.
• Collaborate with builders, suppliers, and trade customers to ensure project success.

Required profile

• Strong enthusiasm for customer service excellence.
• Creative problem‑solving and lateral thinking.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet time‑sensitive deadlines.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge in kitchen design.
• Previous kitchen design experience is advantageous.
