Key Account Manager – Commercial Vehicles

About the role

Keith Andrews Trucks is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead relationships with its most important commercial‑vehicle clients in the Manukau region. You will act as the primary liaison, understand client needs, and deliver tailored transport solutions that drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key accounts across multiple organisational levels.
• Create and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets and identify new growth opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams, dealers and international partners to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead.
• Prepare performance reports, forecasts and reviews for management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Key Account Management, preferably within the automotive or transport sector.
• Strategic, results‑driven mindset with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build trust and influence decision‑makers at all levels.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of sales processes and account management principles.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Analytical ability to use data for insights and strategy.
