IT Recruiter – End-to-End Internal Recruitment (Auckland)

About the role

We are seeking an IT Recruiter to join our small, high‑performing team in Auckland. This internal, end‑to‑end recruitment role works closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders across New Zealand, helping to source, assess and place top IT talent.

Key responsibilities

• Run role kickoff meetings and refine hiring briefs.
• Write, post and promote job advertisements.
• Actively source and engage candidates through direct outreach.
• Screen candidates for technical fit, communication skills, values and motivation.
• Coordinate interview schedules and keep the hiring process moving efficiently.
• Manage candidate expectations, communications and offer negotiations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of hiring workflows and challenge unrealistic processes.

Required profile

• Strong judgement and ability to assess both technical and cultural fit.
• Excellent organisation under pressure and clear communication.
• Ownership mindset, common sense and a collaborative team attitude.
• Empathy, sense of humour and zero ego.
• Based in Auckland and comfortable with a hybrid work model.
