About the role

Join Partly’s AI research and software engineering team in Christchurch as an Intern/Graduate Software Engineer. You’ll work on R&D projects that have real impact for clients in the global automotive repair industry.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the R&D team to design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable software solutions.
• Build projects that address meaningful challenges for Partly’s customers.
• Deepen your engineering skills while learning best‑practice software delivery from senior engineers.
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions for high‑impact products.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a BS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and a passion for solving complex problems.
• Experience building personal projects outside of coursework.
• Clear communicator, team player, and able to work autonomously.
• Willing to be based in Christchurch, New Zealand for the internship duration.
