Industrial Engineer 2

About the role

The Industrial Engineer 2 will design and develop hardware products, ensuring they meet functional, ergonomic, and aesthetic standards. This role works within Lam Research’s Global Operations Group, collaborating across design, marketing, and manufacturing to deliver high‑volume, high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Creates and develops design concepts and specifications for hardware products, focusing on function, ergonomics, perceived value and appearance.
• Partners with internal and external marketing and design teams to research design trends and incorporate customer feedback into product enhancements and new designs.
• Produces and validates product design specifications and production requirements, coordinating with both insourced and outsourced manufacturing and engineering groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with equivalent experience.
