Hygiene Technician – Field Service (Hamilton)

About the role

Rentokil Initial is seeking a motivated Hygiene Technician to join its field service team in Hamilton. You will travel across the Hamilton area delivering cleaning and hygiene services, restocking supplies, and ensuring client sites remain safe and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload the service vehicle each day to complete assigned routes.
• Perform cleaning tasks in washrooms and public toilets according to client specifications.
• Restock and maintain hygiene products such as toilet paper, soap dispensers, sanitiser, and air fresheners.
• Identify and address hygiene risks, responding to client concerns promptly.
• Complete service reports using mobile applications to document work performed.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times.
• Observe health and safety standards and report any incidents.

Required profile

• Full‑time, permanent work rights in New Zealand.
• Valid, clean driver’s licence and clean criminal record.
• Physically fit with a strong focus on health and safety.
• Self‑motivated with good time‑management and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Willingness to travel across Hamilton and stay overnight if required.

Required skills

• Confidence using mobile apps and technology for reporting.
