HR Partner – Invercargill

About the role

PowerNet is seeking an HR Partner to join its People, Safety and Communication team in Invercargill. Working alongside two experienced HR Partners and the HR Manager, you will help shape the employee experience across the organisation while enjoying a high degree of autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with a dedicated customer group, advising leaders on people matters and supporting performance.
• Deliver the full HR spectrum, including employee relations, recruitment, capability development and organisational initiatives.
• Lead and contribute to people‑focused projects that drive the future direction of PowerNet.
• Build strong relationships across the business to influence positive outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and best practices.
• Forward‑thinking mindset, resilience and willingness to try new approaches.
• Strong time‑management skills, sense of humour and a drive to deliver results.
• Recruitment and generalist HR experience preferred; experience in an HR partnership model is advantageous.
