Guest Services Agent

About the role

As a Guest Services Agent at Mövenpick Hotel Auckland you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm, friendly and professional service throughout their stay. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, handle guest requests and transactions with precision, and create lasting positive impressions.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑ins and check‑outs, and process payments accurately.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests and special needs.
• Maintain detailed records of transactions and guest preferences.
• Build rapport with returning guests and personalize service where possible.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, food & beverage and other departments to guarantee a seamless guest experience.

Required profile

• Strong attitude and talent for hospitality; proven reception experience is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to connect with guests.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent spoken English.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Opera Cloud property management system (advantage).
