About the role
The Warehouse’s in‑house Design team is seeking a Graphic Licensed Designer to create pop‑culture‑driven products for the New Zealand market. You will translate iconic brands, characters and artists into commercially successful apparel and merchandise that appear on shelves across the country.
Key responsibilities
- Spot emerging trends and turn them into customer‑focused graphics.
- Research market insights and apply trend analytics to product development.
- Forecast colours, graphics, fabrics and product opportunities.
- Create compelling graphics for globally recognised licences such as Disney, Marvel, Warner Brothers and sports teams.
- Collaborate with Buying and Sourcing teams to build cohesive, on‑trend product ranges.
- Ensure designs meet licence guidelines and retail commercial objectives.
Required profile
- Strong eye for detail and ability to work within licensed brand frameworks.
- Experience taking products from concept through execution and partnering with overseas manufacturers.
- Customer‑centric mindset with proven ability to apply market and trend knowledge.
- Commercial sense within a fast‑paced retail environment.
Required skills
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
