Graphic Designer (Mandarin Speaking) – Brand & Visual Design

About the role

We are seeking a creative Graphic Designer who is fluent in Mandarin to strengthen our brand presence across digital and print channels. The role involves crafting compelling visual assets that support marketing campaigns and enhance overall communication impact.

Key responsibilities

• Create visual assets for social media, marketing collateral, advertising key visuals, exhibition materials and other promotional designs.
• Develop creative concepts that align with brand positioning and communication goals.
• Maintain and evolve the company’s visual identity system to ensure consistency across all deliverables.
• Improve existing design templates for better visual consistency and brand recognition.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and PR teams to support brand campaigns and advertising initiatives.
• Produce design variations quickly based on campaign needs and stakeholder feedback.
• Balance creativity with user‑experience considerations to resonate with target audiences.
• Stay up‑to‑date with design trends and propose innovative visual solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Graphic Design or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in internet, advertising or brand design.
• Fluency in Mandarin and ability to work non‑standard New Zealand business hours.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating past design work.

• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
