About the role

Robert Bird Group (RBG) is seeking enthusiastic Graduate Civil and Structural Engineers to join its Auckland team. This graduate program offers exposure to complex building structures, infrastructure, and civil works projects while providing mentorship from industry leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of major industry projects and community ventures.
• Assist in preparing proposals, reports, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues through a buddy system and cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and graduate community activities.
• Engage in in‑person and online training workshops covering consulting, client interaction, and time management.

Required profile

• Final‑year student or graduate within the last two years.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Effective time‑management and workload handling.
• Developed knowledge of analytical methods, tools, and engineering principles.
