Fundraising Lead - CRM & Analysis

About the role

IHC New Zealand, a charity supporting and advocating for people with intellectual disabilities, is looking for a Fundraising Lead - CRM and Analysis for its fundraising team. This is a permanent, full-time, central strategic role based in the Wellington National Office, focused on end-to-end CRM management and analysis across fundraising operations, with a salary of $105k-$115k+. The role sits within a team of 10 fundraisers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the team on data/CRM processes and insights, mentoring colleagues and promoting accuracy, reporting and analysis.
• Manage data integrity, system configuration and testing to ensure CRM excellence.
• Build and maintain performance monitoring and reporting tools, mostly in PowerBI, including benchmarking.
• Manage complex data operations to produce campaign-ready segmentation.
• Interpret campaign briefs, clarify data needs and align expectations with stakeholders.
• Streamline processes and improve data workflows to boost campaign efficiency.

Required profile

• Expertise in fundraising analysis, reporting and segmentation, with experience in fundraising CRM management, including the IHC fundraising CRM (Clarety).
• Knowledge of donor behaviour, acquisition, retention and stewardship.
• Proven ability to keep fundraising data clean and accurate, including imports, exports and data flows across platforms.
• Commitment to personalised, timely donor engagement.
• Methodical, flexible and collaborative, able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Required skills

• Fundraising dashboarding and reporting tools, mostly PowerBI.
• Advanced use of Excel.
• Ability to use and safely integrate AI.
• Strong technical knowledge of fundraising CRM systems.
