Full-Stack Software Developer

About the role

Datanest is looking for an experienced Full‑Stack Software Developer to help build the next generation of its global SaaS platform. Based in Christchurch, you will work closely with founders, product teams and customers to turn ideas into features used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new platform functionality and APIs.
• Improve application architecture, scalability, performance and reliability.
• Develop intuitive user experiences and AI‑assisted workflows.
• Create reporting, analytics and integration capabilities.
• Reduce technical debt and enhance maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a full‑stack developer in a SaaS environment.
• Ability to work directly with customers to solve real business problems.
• Strong collaborative and agile mindset.
• Willingness to take ownership of features from concept to release.
