Financial Accountant

About the role

We are a fast‑growing space‑technology startup seeking a Financial Accountant who can bring technical accounting expertise and practical judgement to a multi‑entity, rapidly scaling environment. You will own month‑end and year‑end processes, consolidate financials across several entities, and translate complex data into clear insights for non‑finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver accurate month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Lead consolidation of multiple entities within the group.
• Maintain strong financial controls while supporting rapid growth.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles and analyse financial performance.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies and opportunities across the business.
• Improve ERP‑driven finance processes and implement pragmatic enhancements.
• Build and maintain robust Excel‑based financial models.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and multi‑entity financial reporting.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.
• Proactive ownership and ability to follow through on commitments.
• Clear, direct communication skills, especially with non‑finance stakeholders.
