Finance Manager – CFO Advisory

About the role

EY is seeking a Finance Manager to join its CFO Advisory practice in Auckland. You will work closely with chief finance officers, finance teams and broader business units to create long‑term value, trust and confidence across organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with CFOs and finance teams to develop and implement strategic financial solutions.
• Provide insight on transactions such as acquisitions and disposals and assess operational impacts.
• Lead projects that optimise finance processes, reporting and accounting practices.
• Deliver practical, outcome‑focused advice that aligns with regulatory and sector requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent professional credential.
• Degree in accounting or a related academic field.
• Strong leadership and project‑management abilities, able to perform under pressure.

Required skills

• Understanding of business transactions and their financial implications.
