Field Merchandiser (Part-Time)

About the role

Goodman Fielder is looking for a Field Merchandiser to join its team in Alexandra. The role ensures that Goodman Fielder products are displayed on shelf and ready to buy, working with products such as milk, cheese, yoghurts and bread. It is a part-time position of 14 hours: Sunday 7.30am to 3.00pm and Monday 7.30am to 4.00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Work alone and ensure products are placed on shelves in supermarkets
• Travel to different stores and act as the face of the brands there
• Build relationships with grocery customers and communicate regularly with the supervisor and at store level
• Take product samples home to try from time to time

Required profile

• Physically fit, able to lift product up to 12kg continuously (milk crates or full racks of bread)
• Enjoys working on their feet and interacting with customers in a supermarket environment
• Organised and able to manage their own time
• Valid driver's licence (restricted or above)
