Field Merchandiser – Invercargill

About the role

Goodman Fielder is looking for a Field Merchandiser in Invercargill to keep its products on shelf and ready to buy. The role is part-time, working alone, and focuses on ensuring goods such as milk, cheese, yoghurts and bread are displayed correctly. It suits someone who likes to stay fit while working and manages their own time.

Key responsibilities

• Display Goodman Fielder products on shelves in local supermarkets so they are ready to purchase.
• Work with a range of products including milk, cheese, yoghurts and bread.
• Travel to different stores and act as the face of the brands in supermarkets.
• Build relationships with grocery customers and communicate regularly with the supervisor and at store level.

Required profile

• Physically fit, able to lift product up to 12kg continuously (milk crates or full racks of bread).
• Enjoys working on their feet and interacting with customers in a supermarket environment.
• Organised and able to manage their own time.
• Valid driver's licence (Restricted or above) to travel between stores.

What we offer

• Pay of $25.20 plus mileage.
• Schedule: Thursday and Friday 6:30am–3:30pm and Saturday 6am–3:30pm, 24.5 hours per week.
• Ongoing health and safety training, uniforms and personal protective gear.
• The chance to take product samples home to try.
