About the role
Louis Vuitton is seeking a Field Coach Trainer to support its New Zealand stores from Auckland. The role blends on‑site presence with remote coaching to develop talent, enhance the client experience, and drive continuous retail improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Store Managers to identify training needs and create tailored coaching plans aligned with business goals.
- Deliver engaging training sessions for new‑hire inductions, product knowledge, and clienteling best practices, both in‑person and via remote channels.
- Coach and mentor team members to foster individual growth, team cohesion, and a consistently elevated client experience.
- Observe staff on the sales floor during monthly New Zealand visits, providing real‑time coaching with immediate impact.
- Maintain a consistent coaching rhythm between visits through virtual sessions, digital tools, and proactive check‑ins.
- Utilise Client Voice insights to address root causes of client dissatisfaction and guide meaningful improvement.
- Partner with Merchandising to integrate product knowledge with selling skills, optimising KPI performance.
- Oversee onboarding and induction experiences in collaboration with HR.
- Maintain visibility of all training activities for Store Management, delivering clear recommendations and regular feedback.
- Identify and nurture future training talent within the store network.
Required profile
- Confident and engaging retail professional with a passion for people development and luxury client experience.
- Proven ability to coach, inspire, and influence others, including remote influence.
- Strong experience in coaching, performance management, and training delivery within a fast‑paced retail or luxury environment.
- Ability to build genuine connections and drive behaviour change remotely through clear communication and consistent follow‑through.
- Demonstrated facilitation, change management, and collaboration skills across diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
- Advanced product knowledge with the capability to translate expertise into actionable learning moments.
