Experienced Associate – External Audit

About the role

We are looking for an Experienced Associate to join Deloitte’s Audit team in Wellington. The role involves delivering audit and assurance services to a diverse client base across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Present findings and provide recommendations to clients.
• Review written advice, reports, memoranda and other deliverables.
• Analyse audit and risk advisory issues and support client business strategies.
• Build relationships and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Deliver exceptional client service while collaborating across businesses and borders.

Required profile

• 2+ years of audit experience in a chartered accounting firm.
• Understanding of New Zealand accounting standards.
• Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Accounting and Commercial Law.
• CAANZ full membership or working towards it.
• Strong analytical, numerical and research skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
