Event Services Attendant - Casual

About the role

Venues Otautahi is recruiting Event Services Attendants for its casual team, joining in early 2027 to support events such as Foo Fighters, Black Clash and Wellington Phoenix. The role suits flexible, enthusiastic and reliable people who can move with the needs of each event, and candidates may be rostered across any of the five venues, including One New Zealand Stadium.

Key responsibilities

• Food and beverage service across bars, corporate suites and premium hospitality spaces
• Hosting: welcoming guests, scanning tickets and helping with seating
• Cashiering: processing transactions and keeping service moving
• Event and venue setup: stocking fridges, polishing glassware and cutlery
• Barista work

Required profile

• Availability to work evenings, weekends and early mornings
• Flexibility to travel between the various venues
• Prior experience in a food and beverage or customer-facing role; premium or corporate hospitality experience highly regarded
• A genuine passion for taking care of people and delivering a great guest experience

The intake is for people available from 19 January 2027, with a training session the week before. Interviews are expected in early December, and another intake will open later in the year.
