Doctor – Relocate to New Zealand

About the role

We are seeking UK‑trained doctors who want to relocate to New Zealand and deliver patient‑centred care in a supportive primary‑care environment. The role offers the chance to work in diverse settings—from urban clinics to rural communities—while enjoying a better work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical consultations with longer appointment times.
• Ensure continuity of care and build lasting relationships with patients and their families (whānau).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and respect Māori health perspectives.
• Maintain clinical autonomy while adhering to New Zealand health standards.
• Participate in community health initiatives and contribute to equitable health outcomes.

Required profile

• Fully qualified medical doctor registered in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to relocate to New Zealand and obtain registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Commitment to patient‑focused practice and high clinical standards.
• Ability to adapt to diverse cultural settings, including Māori communities.

Required skills

• Clinical diagnosis and management across a broad range of conditions.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
