Dispatch & Systems Coordinator

About the role

H.G. Leach & Co Ltd, a family-owned quarrying and contracting business based in Tirohia with over 70 years of experience, is hiring a Dispatch & Systems Coordinator in Paeroa. Working alongside the Logistics Manager, you will coordinate aggregate deliveries and customer orders, keeping up to 30 company and subcontractor trucks moving during peak periods. You will also look for ways to improve sales and delivery systems, cut repetitive admin and make information easier to access.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate aggregate deliveries and customer orders
• Keep up to 30 company and subcontractor trucks moving during peak periods
• Identify improvements to sales and delivery systems
• Reduce repetitive administration and make information easier to access
• Use AI, automation and digital tools to improve efficiency

Required profile

• Experience in dispatch, transport, logistics, customer service or coordination
• Proactive mindset with an interest in technology and continuous improvement
• Quarrying, aggregate or heavy transport experience is an advantage

Required skills

• Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills
• Confidence using spreadsheets and business systems
