Desk Assistant – NZD FX (Middle Office)

About the role

The Desk Assistant – NZD FX will support the middle‑office team by accurately capturing trade details for New Zealand dollar foreign‑exchange transactions. Working on‑site in Wellington, you will collaborate closely with brokers to ensure data integrity and timely processing.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and verify FX trade information in the broker’s systems.
• Maintain accurate records of trade confirmations and settlements.
• Assist brokers with ad‑hoc data requests and reporting.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in trade data.
• Support the middle‑office team in daily operational tasks.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good numerical aptitude and ability to work with large data sets.
• Effective communication skills to interact with brokers and internal teams.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
